Where City Offices are located

City Hall has the architecture design of a white colonial building. This remodeled (Grange Hall) structure is the site for council chambers, meetings, public hearing, and Mayor's court. Offices of the Council Clerk, Planning Commission, Board of Zoning and Appeals are on the upper level. An elevator is available to the second floor. The lower level houses offices for both Building and Engineering. The main entrance to City Hall is on the south side of the building. The elected administration is headquartered in the center building.  A receptionist, from the Mayor's Office is there to assist you. The City Hall complex has about 75 staff workers in several attached buildings. Most public access offices are located in the cental building of the City Hall complex. Included are: City Auditor, City Attorney, Income Tax, Treasurer, and Utilities. The Senior Center annex, which includes the multi purpose room, and Parks and Recreation offices, serve the residence of all ages. These offices are located in the building south and accross from City Hall.  The Police Department is at the east end of the complex. You will find a police dispatcher accessible via a lobby phone at all times. Additionally, 150 employees in Fire, Police, and public service offices are located throughout city property. These service employees provide public emergency and safety services, particularly in the areas of law enforcement, and investigations, emergency health and fire assistance, road maintenance and repair, water, and sanitary enforcement. Each department is headed by a Chief or Superintendent representative who serves as liaison to state, local, and private organizations and as a spokesperson for the city of North Ridgeville elected officials.
